taxi from HK to NT

Hi,

If I need to take a taxi from the HK Island to Tuen Mun in the New Territories, how should I proceed?

Will any red taxi take me there? Or only some specific red cabs?

Is it a good idea to call the taxi company in advance or just catch a cab on the street?

any red taxi will be able to take you there.


If you have a local friend. have them call a "discount" cab which is about 15-20% off of the final bill and have them pre arrange everything.

Just to add a bit more, try and get a cab from one of the cross harbour taxi ranks that way you won't have to pay for his return tunnel fee. but as mentioned try order one over the phone and get the discount.
