Does anyone know if R.M. Williams Clothing can be purchased in Hong Kong or has anyone seen it in China, thanks

RM Williams is an Australian icon - South Australia actually. With the exception of T-shirts and caps which I believe are made in China, everything else is Australian made.

I picked up some classic RM long sleeved ladies tops in Stanley about a month ago. They had plenty and they appeared to be of good quality and they were all wrapped in tissue and plastic bags. Much cheaper than buying in Percy Street, Prospect!

Presuming the Stanley items are not the real deal, when RM Williams shunted some of their manufacturing off to China in order to save costs then I guess they should have expected Chinese knock-offs to appear fairly rapidly. I'm thinking more ironic than iconic.

Just got a pair of RM Williams boots through the post from Blowes Clothing in Orange Australia. They were much cheaper than RM Williams online. The Blowes team were very helpful/responsive to questions and the whole experience was very straight forward. They took the tax off which helped pay for the postage.
