pls give me advice what would u do dealing with some ppl don't do right thing in the gym.
I was involved in an incident this evening at SoHo club where another member was adding water to the hot coals in the sauna. She excessively applied water to the point where I almost fainted and I asked her to consider other people. She was being very selfish .
i opened the door when she pour the 4th spoon , after i close the door she add 3 more spoon ,
I spoke to her in a distance saying if she could consider other members when add more water 9 make the sauna crazy hot. She said to me saying if i don't; like u can leave.
I kept saying can u consider the other ppl , this is not a personal sauna , is a public one, she said if u don;t like and leave.
I went to her and said the same thing , at then end she left, after a while i called up the staff m and staff came up to the woman changing room , she started pointing at me with the finger and saying if i don't like i can leave without i have a chance to say much ,and she said to the staff that she pout 2 spoon and said i m crazy , and said if i ever talk to her again she will call the police and she accusing me i try to hit her with something.
tell me what should i do in this case
of coz, ppl should add water , my point is where there are other members inside as well ,and u keep adding it ( normally member add 1-2 spoons) seriously if u want it to be very hot , pls consider the other members . maybe some member's has health issue can't stand that extreme heat. Is better to ask if it okay to add more or make the room hotter when there are other ppl in the room .
My point is it VERY HARD to enjoy the facility with respect ? i like what Christelita Replied below.the link she posted is very CIVILIZED .

ask yourself, is it really worth getting worked up and wasting your energy on someone like that? at the end of the day, no one got hurt, yes you were uncomfortable, but really there are more serious problems that this.
we all live in a city FULL of inconsiderate people...the trick is to "not sweat the small stuff"

mac.apple: with all respect but you are supposed to throw water on stones (not coals) in sauna. That's what it's about and if you forbid it, someone who came to enjoy bathing in sauna gets a warm room instead.

In this link are regulations by the Finnish Sauna Society for members using their saunas in Finland.
http://www.sauna.fi/sweatbaths.html
While these are specifically for the sauna users of that society, following points - especially no. 6 - certainly can be taken as universal advice:
3. Please switch off your mobile phone when you arrive and only turn it on again when you leave the premises.
5. In addition to washing off the dust and cares of the day, please take the time to wash away any trace of perfume or after-shave before entering the sauna. Please refrain from using heavily perfumed hair conditioners or bath oils or bathing salts that could soil the sauna benches. The same restriction applies to the use of any kind of additive to the water used to cast on the stones of the sauna stove.
6. Ask the other bathers, either when entering or leaving the sauna, if they would like to have more steam. Contests for whom can stand the hottest degree of steam do not belong to the customs of the Sauna Seura, but respect for others do.
7. You may talk in the sauna. The discussion should however be of the level that other bathers could take part in if he or she so wishes to do so. Religion, politics, problems and strife at work and the diversity of opinions within the society are better left out of sauna bench discussions. The same kind of respect and consideration for others should also be observed in the lounge.
9. The society saunas are heated to different degrees according to their own particular nature. Attempting to change the degree of heat by leaving the sauna door open for a longer period of time or spraying water on the stove is not allowed.
11. Whoever is last to leave the sauna should ensure that nothing has been left that doesn’t belong there and that the sauna stove door is securely closed.
17. Only take as much sauna as your own health permits. Do not come to the sauna when you are sick or unwell as doing so could affect others. If do you happen to feel unwell ask for assistance if necessary and leave the sauna.
18. Please play your part in keeping the premises clean and tidy. Place all rubbish in the waste bin and tidy up after you have finished. Remember to return the pails to their reserved place, put your sauna bench towel and bath towel into the laundry.
So in all, I do agree with OP that the woman selfishly adding water and then adding insulting comments on top was very inconsiderate and rude! With such people it’s maybe best to avoid confrontation, quietly just go to alert staff and ask them to come to see the situation as it’s happening. Staff can then see who’s really to blame and enforce proper rules.

what if there are three other people in sauna, you want more steam so you ask permission to use the spoon one person says 'yes please do' and the other 2 say 'no more spooning please' it's a 50/50 deadlock. I suggest rock paper scissors best of 3 rounds. Or maybe just a game of hide the spoon.

Hi mac.apple
While some of us are sympathetic to your bad experience, be careful when you do racial stereotyping: "......she from somewhere else coz she tan. I think is local . those type are a bit arrogant."
There are many ASIANS (locals or otherwise) reading this forum...........

&&& , yes i can't say it like that. tan = a lot of local love tanning so that they can be ore westernize. not that nature color is dark :( , when I said they were a bit arrogant , Form my last 10 years experience, the onw who are has westerner boyfriend , most of them don't see anyone people but themselves .
just because " hello people " ask edme if she is local. no offense at all. I did opened the door and she did add more water, and we sort of start an argument, and I had to call the staff from the gym And the woman said she will call police if i tried to talk to her again.
