Just wondering why books are almost always sold at full, or even inflated, prices in HK? One gets a scornful or blank look from the shop assistant if one dares to ask about that. Money rules in this land!!!

Agree with Boston bob, we bought a kindle bec hk books are full price even if it's 5 years old hard bound. Haven't found a library either. I'm selling hot, flat and crowded, Thomas Friedman and the black swan, nassim taleb, both hardbound good copies for hod 60 each or 100 for both if you care.
