hi, i am indian in 29 yr male, just want to have fun in shenzhen for a day. How safe is Shenzhen and whom to trust?

I find Shenzhen is very similar to HK as far as peoples attitudes and customs are concerned . Safe always , but pickpockets are everywhere and target travellers who have their hands full carrying bags and pulling a suitcase . Be always alert to pickpockets at all times , during the daytime especially . But I have not heard of violent street crime or assaults to rob a victim . Still very safe as far as that matter .
