Building going to be under external renovation?

Hi all - I'm looking to enter into a new lease in an older building (Vienna Mansions, Causeway Bay), and I'm just wondering if there's any easy way to check if there are major renovation or maintenance plans for it (i.e. the type that ends up with the entire building covered in green netting and scaffolding). Apart from asking the agent (not sure if they'd have the incentive to tell us the whole story!) or the building security guard, any suggestions? Do buildings need to register with a government department or anything like that? Any suggestions much appreciated.


Ps. We know Vienna Mansions are fixing one of their lifts at the moment, but not sure if there are other plans in the pipeline.
