I have an energy-saving light bulb in my bedroom, and I have noticed that it blinks about maybe once a minute or so when the light is turned off. The light does not flash on completely, it is more like a tiny lightning strike inside the bulb. This seems to affect only this one light fixture in the house. Blinking continues even after changing a new bulb. Anybody have an idea what is causing this?

get an electrician so you don't zap yourself, you have a loose connection possibly in the switch itself
