I have just got permanent residency under the 7 year rule. Can my 30 yr old son come out here and get a job as my dependent??

Any advice is appreciated.

I don't believe that is possible... he would need to apply for a work visa independent of yours

You can sponsor as dependents your (1) Children not over 18 and (2) parents over 65. Please verify with immigration if correct.

So, your 30 year old child can't be your dependent. Which makes sense because he's already an adult.

Punter is correct, if over 18 then he is not your dependant any more.
