Sometimes a short sharp smack is what's required.


Children have been smacked for centuries as a form of discipline but it's only in recent years when the "Politically Correct' amongst us have decided to try and get it made illegal.


Different discipline works on different children and as long as it is just a smack, not a thump or a punch or a very tight hand around the arm then what's the problem.

Ill chosen words can do as much damage as a smack. In the end a bad parent will do damage no matter the method they choose. It's about good and bad parents, good and bad intentions not the method.

very much agree, most of us got smacks when we were younger and we turned out ok....too many "experts" trying to tell us what to do
