A friend of mine recently passed away, and the only thing he was doing was taking weight loss pills. The autopsy was inconclusive, but it was tragic. Don't go down the wrong path. Weight loss is best related to your lifestyle and eating habits. I personally am on an all natural weight loss protein mix offered by Shaklee. Yeah, I am a distributor, but I can tell you that I have seen two people I know depart due to extreme weight lossing attempts.

I think 3 months is a realistic timeline if you are looking at firming up yourself and giving more defined lines to your body. I don't think that reducing weight should be the "goal", because if you start building more muscles... sometimes it may seem that you are gaining weight, but in fact, you are looking more toned and i think your ultimate objective is to "look better" right?
Like you, I have gone through the whole trying out pills part, and in the end, I used burn60 combo lot of cardio. But after a while, I simply feel I am not making progress and then i realize I simply wasn't doing it correctly. Subsequently, I went to a trainer who also have knowledge on nutrition, and then i learned that I need correct diet + weight training to build muscle mass, where if i have those muscle mass, my body will burn the calories in a more effective manner.
In the end... and so out of my fashion, I signed up for a fitness program with a personal trainer, and then start building core muscles in my body. I have been doing this now for a year, and I grew from somebody who can't even run for a mile to somebody who finished a 10K race. Weight-wise, I would be very honest with you that my weight maintained the same, only the fat vs muscle content reversed and I am now looking a lot more toned and defined.
So... all in all, if you want result, I'd suggest you to consider really trying to get into personal training sessions. Invest into a proper session with a trainer once a week, while doing your own routine for another session in a week, it should be no problem in achieving your goals.
If you are interested, I can also pass you the contact of my trainer. He owns his own boutique gym now which doesn't cost membership, and I am so far very happy with the results that I have achieved.
Hope my little store helps

One of the best ways I've found to lose weight is the South Beach Diet. It's healthy and you see results quickly-- but you need to be very disciplined with your eating habits. Go to any bookstore and you can find books based on the South Beach Diet.
I love junk food too much-- but let me assure you that this diet is a healthy way to shed weight quickly.

If you want to lose weight here is a big head start... as the presenter says... the first thing you should consider is stop consuming all drinks and food stuffs that contain fructose... or what is now being rebranded corn sugar

Pills are really not good for us. The best way to lose weight is to eat properly and exercise. My yogamate has lost 11 pounds in the last month doing yoga. I know a lot of ppl who have lost weight with yoga.

Stay away from those slimming pills. My sister took them before and she has bad side effects. It's all about eating right and less and exercising right and more. More output and less input. If you need discipline, see a nutritionist and get a personal trainer. You can achieve a lot in 3 months.

Agree that pills is a NO NO. From a personal experience - Not safe at all.
Eat healthy, Exercise, Get enough sleep and incorporate slimming treatments into your routine to give you that extra help.
There is a machine called 'Genie' or 'Genie complete/Tech' and one of its functions is to break down the fat cells by using electronic wave forms to speed up metabolism and set up the kreb's cycle to hasten weight loss.
There's lots of other functions on the machine too. If you type in the name on your search engine the website should come up. To give u a rough idea of the effectiveness - 20 minutes on the stomach is the same as 360 sit-ups. Great for toning after weight loss.
There's only one machine in HK that has recently been brought over from the UK. PM me if you would like details. Hope this helps :)

Noooooo ... you must not resort to the pills - please! Its not good for you, and cannot be sustained in the long term. I have been a yo-yo dieter all my life, but over the last 18 months have now finally found something that works for me ..... exercise. I am now the lightest I've been for nearly 20 years, and although I have cut down some of the rubbish that I used to eat, I would not describe myself as being on a diet. I just eat more healthy generally and treat myself now and again. If you work hard at the gym, you will be less inclined to want to eat rubbish. To get results, its really something that requires commitment - 20-30 mins just isn't enough - you will only just have started burning the fat by that stage, and then you will stop. If you can't find longer to do it every day, then try to do a few days a week - and try for longer say 45 mins. Try something that you find fun as well - because that way you will also stick at it. One of my favourites is kick-boxing. So intensive, but really good not just for burning calories but also for toning everywhere - and if you find the right trainer its also amazing fun! I never thought I would like boxing - I'm not an aggressive person - but its not about that. It makes you feel so good and you can really feel yourself getting fitter and better quite quickly - so its something that also keeps you motivated. Try something like that instead - you will be amazed at how different you can feel - even in the 3 months that you've set yourself. Go for it!

Definitely shouldn’t take pills! You never know exactly what’s in the pills and there were news saying that some of the pills would cause cancer!!! Should really try to have a healthy diet, eat more vegetables and remember to drink a cup of warm water every morning when you get up. It really does help~ And of course exercises are very important, but if you really hate it that much like me, maybe you could go to some beauty centre~ I am going to one called “Spa Beaute Par Zai” in Central, my friend recommended it to me~ And she has lose quite a lot of weight from there!

I agree. Get a friend to work out with you! Also, you can use www.prevention.com for free ideas, free weight loss charts to motivate you. You can go to GNC or Watson's and find drink powder which replaces meals. It's healthy and helpful. As for pills, you can use fiber pills, flax oil, dandelion root and they are safe and helpful. If you go to GNC, they have a lot of advice on losing weight in a healthy way.

I agree...I used to do the diet pill thing...only suffering nervous anxiety in the process...not a good thing at all... eating sensibly, exercising moderately...have fallen off the bandwagon over Christmas but readily determined to finally rid myself of the extra baggage before this November!!! There are clinics that do detox programs, Holistic Central has just started one with Dr. Wendy Yang, a holistic chiropractor and certified raw food chef...it's maybe worth looking at. Good Luck!!!

From what I can see best way to lose weight would be to have proper food, proper exercise and proper sleep. Diet pills and no-sugar sweeteners will really deteriorate you health. Spending lot of money will not get you anywhere except end up in bad health and losing money at all ends. What we need would be to commitment and discipline to stick to fitness program and to stay away from bad food.
Dietary supplements can be helpful, but you have to be very careful with them since most of these popular whey protein brands (including GNC) had been discovered with lot of heavy metals and toxic chemicals. And we stopped taking them till we find something more closer to the nature.
