Was terminated by the dodgy financial advisor

Hope you can give me an advise. I was working for a dodgy financial advisor for around 7 months. They are selling the financial products to overseas investors without the relevant countries license. i.e. illegal. I was hired as a sales person but after I joined I soon found out that their business was illegal for some countries. I felt uncomfortable to be a sales person so I requested to change the role to the back office staff so that I dont need to beark the law and sell the products. Anyway, from time to time, I advised the company how illegal their business is and I guess they did not like to hear it so I was dismissed. the reason given was not corporating to the management.


But how can I help their business if I know that it is breaking the rules for the certain country? Can they do wahtever they like as long as they dont break Hong Kong law?


Is there any remedy for that?

Can I take a leagl action to seek the compensation for, say mislead to join the company? ( I did not join the company if I had known what exactly they were doing. But of course they did not tell me. )


Anyway, they paid the minimum requirement final payment.
