Just moved to HK 6 months ago and wants to engage myself in a different sport this time..somewhat hongkong style. I dont know anything about dragonboating or whatsoever but would want to and would also like to meet new people here.

An international dragonboating championship will be held in Stanley on June 6. You may go there to get in touch with right people.

I am not really well aware concerning teh Stanley event.

The HK Dragon Boat Association helds elementary courses of dragonboating in Shek Mun, NT.

prob a bit late for this season...competitions are underway for the next month of weekends now...teams are set and practicing hard...but def. look at joining next year (pre-Easter to get on a team that's forming)
