Will i have probs renewing dependant visa?

I am due to extend my current dependant visa in a short while but think I may encounter some problems.


A while ago my husbands brother tried to cause me probs by emailing immigration that my husband & me had parted ways - not true but when we said we would go to immigration he simply said he did not do this...this was about 4 months ago so we left it but now i am panicking about renewing my dependant visa! I wish we had gone to immigration then but we honestly thought he was kidding, now not sure if he did or not.


I have read on other posts that my husband need not attend but just to get him to sign relevant forms and take copy of his passport (told no need to take his ID card). This i can do as he wont get time off work.


My only concern is that my hsband is due to fly to home country as his father is very sick and docs have informed him he is dying so he wishes to spend his last days by his side (however long that may be) - do i tell immigration about this, surely they'll know if he is out of the country by using his id card no??

You will have to sign a form swearing that you are not separated from your husband; this is just standard procedure for everyone wanting to renew a dependent visa. If they make further inquiries you may need to show some evidence that you are both living at the same address. If both of you receive some bills there that should probably cover it.
