Hi,


We (US citizens) have been living here for about a year and had a baby here; I obtained a US report of consular birth, US passport and ss# for the baby.


Does the baby need a visa to stay in Hong Kong? What happens if we travel and return to Hong Kong and baby does not have visa (but we do)?

Thanks. Any advice on documentation needed is greatly appreciated...I tried searching the immigration website but I cannot seem to find this particular situation.

if i remember correctly they will give you visa at same time when you go and apply for birth certificate

just take that paper to immigration tower and they will issue a visa sticker and put it in baby's passport.
