Could anyone recommend an energetic church service around central? I heard that Union Church has a great service but not sure which one?
Times and addresses would be helpful.

Just google Union Church Hong Kong, they have a very comprehensive site. They now have a variety of worship services, some contemporary, some tradtional. One family service at which children are especially catered for.
Union Church is in Kennedy Road, a very easy and pleasant walk up from Central through the Gardens or the Park.

On the occasions I have attended the Union Church (on Kennedy Road) I have been favourably impressed - particularly when the minister said that he doesn't care if people arrive dressed for the beach or a junk trip after the service, he's just happy to see them and to have them there.
Compare this with the recent news letter from the diocese on the south side of the island berating its congregation for dressing poorly and not 'respecting' the church.
And here was me thinking it's what's on the inside that matters.
