Applying for US citizenship for wife

I am a US citizen and have been married now to my Filipina wife for just over a year. We got married in HK and are planning on moving to the US in the next year or so.

My question is, what is the best process to apply for her citizenship? Would I actually be applying for a visa for her to come to the US and live, and then be applying for citizenship there?

Our ultimate goal is to move to the US to start a family as well as to continue the pursuit of our proffesional lives.

Does applying for citizenship of a spouse mean that she will be able to work there or is that a whole different process all together?

What sort of information will we need to supply for consideration for US citizenship?

why not just go the embassy here and ask? they will provide with you accurate information.

citizenship is not the same as a green card, she does not need to be a citizen to live in the US with you.

i assume:

there is some residency requirement for her to get a US passport

she can get a green card to allow her to work there.

she can get a dependent visa to allow her to live there.

Your wife needs to live in the U.S for a few years before applying the citizenship, that's what I heard from the immigration after I got my Greencard before moving out here with my ex.
