Can anyone tell me if fridge hire is possible in Hong Kong. I need a fridge for a couple of months only.

I think your best option is to find someone selling a used fridge - try the classified section here - then sell it on or give it away when you've finished with it, as even if you could hire one (unlikely, but I may be proved wrong) it would probably work out around the same cost.
