Hi


I am looking for a small cane/wicker basket with a handle for a child to use for an Easter egg hunt.


Tried Central lanes and Pottinger St and then a few fruit and flower shops in Sheung Wan plus Japan Home Store. Anyone seen something like this in Central/Sheung Wan? I am sure I saw a shop with heaps of them hanging from up high outside the store in Sheung Wan but now can't locate that store ...

Try walking down QRE, Wanchai. There is a shop there selling cane stuff , amongst other household stuff.(some of it is displayed outside the shop)

Try the flower market, Prince Edward -- many of the flower stalls may sell little baskets, or there is a very nice store there called Brighton.

I remember seeing some in the side lanes that run off the "wet market " street that runs uphill in Central (parallel to the escalator). Sorry if I can't be more specific. It was one of those shops that sells leftover sample stuff. There are also a few florist shops in the lanes that have baskets. A sand pail can also make a good easter basket.
