Hi pretty much looking for what the title says. I have a 2000sqft apartment that i am renovating from scratch. Looking into doing the wiring either myself or through a company that specializes in these type of installments. A quick run down Google has not turned up many leads.
I need to find a place that either deals with the installation of, or sells items such as structured wiring, termination plates, and wiring panels for the smarthome.
I am also looking into a complete home theatre setup so i will need the wiring and termination plates for that as well.

I can possibly help you with this. I have been in HK 2 years now but ran my own IT business in Ireland before coming here. Have been doing some basic IT services but have some experience wiring houses and doing smarthome installs. Had the same problem - and I don't really trust too many HK renovators - so I did it myself. Heaps of fun and meant I got exactly what I wanted. And as I set it all up, if something goes wrong (hasn't yet) I know where everything is and how to access easily to fix.
I use wireless for general internet thoughout the house - plenty fast. Cat 6 to TVs and desktops from my server. Music is all wireless in bedroom, bathroom etc.
If you go it your own, just make sure you run (have space for) extra cables - never know what you will want to add later down the track!
