Vitamin C will do no harm: it is water-soluble and the excess is excreted in your urine. But an excess of Vitamin A (which is not water soluble) is linked to a higher rate of miscarriage. So avoid supplements with Vit A and avoid fruit and veg with red/orange colouring.... watermelon, papaya, carrots etc .... as well as tuna and liver, as these are high in vitamin A.

Although Vitamin C is water soluable, it is not recommended to be taken in mega doses while pregnant. (i'm not sure how many mg's you are taking...) I used to take megadoses to comabt colds while I was NOT pregnant, and discovered when I was pregnant that it is not recommended as there is some connection with babies receiving megadoses of vitamin C in the womb developing scurvy upon birth. Keep it within reason and you should be fine.

A bit released now. I just take one a day. Not excessive. So I think I m just fine. But I will keep an eye on Vitamin A intake from now on.

Tx!
