drug free IUI is certainly possible I think you would expect a lower success rate as there will only be one egg. Have you had any other tests? IUI does not work if there is a problem with your tubes - goodluck

Even if you decide to go ahead without ovarian stimulation (for eggs) you probably still want to have the HcG injection right about the time you should ovulate. This lets your doctor manage the release of your egg(s) which allows much better timing (and better success) for proceedure itself.


I'm assuming your husband has been checked out too? Half the issues are "male factor".
