Dr Doo / Dr. Ho

Who would you recommend ?

I've read the different posts but it seems that they're both very good.

I would appreciate to get some more feedback.

There are many good O&G in HK. Someone who is great for A may be awful for B. What you want to know is this; Who is of a consistently high standard (and they both are) and then to find out which one suits you personally the best. And the only way you will know is to pay them a visit.

I did two IUI with them first one with Dr Doo as he was my Dr. He is really good, warm, answer you questions and always do your ultrasound himself and explain you all the things. During my second IUI he was on holidays so Dr Milton Leung did it for me. I felt more comfotable with Dr Doo but i am planning to do another IUI next cycle and will probably go to Dr. Philip Ho.

I, and several of my friends, have Dr. Ho. We all like him and where all from different places and backgrounds...NZ, China, UK, US, etc.; we didn't know each other before choosing the doc so we didn't sway one another on the choice...just a coincidence. He's been very good and answers all questions; you should educate yourself too (I read a good book and chatted with many other preggars) so you can ask even more pinpointed questions of whomever you choose as your OB.


Another friend of mine went to and spoke highly of Dr. Doo; she regarded him as more of a fertility specialist and sought him out to helper her with conception. Some others can speak more to this, but I think Dr. Ho has also helped many with fertility and conception.


All in all, it's, as someone else said, who you just work with best or better. These two doctors have good reputations. I chose Ho over Doo because my general practitioner (doctor) had recommended him highly; Ho had delivered even her children.
