Today I told my aunt in London that I was pregnant. She then told me that her daughter, my cousin, was also pregnant. And then guess what? HER due date is the same as mine - June 6/7!!!! Crikey, what a coincidence! This is her third and my first.
Isn't that cool?
Today I was also thrown forward in a taxi - driver braked suddenly. Luckily there was no impact and I stopped myself with my hands. I wasn't wearing a seatbelt, cause I'm really scared those things will hurt my stomach in case of a sudden stop like this one. Since I lost the first one due to an impact I'm really scared this might happen again, even if its only a body jerk. So fingers crossed nothing happens to the bubba...
A mixed bag day really!

Great news about your family.
Glad you survived the taxi ride - how scary that must have been for you.
They do say a seatbelt is safer than not having one - but it is your choice....
I wear mine, but keep it quite loose as a compromise.

Thanks Cri, well, nothing happened thank God. I go for my 12.5 week scan next saturday. They'll check nuchal translucency etc then. Fingers crossed everything turns out normal...
I'm going to wear a seatbelt religiously from now on, but will keep my hands around it in the area of my lower abdomen. I've read there are some soft wrapper thingys to put on the seatbelts to make it wider and stop it cutting into you???
