Can anyone recommend a good ultrasound scan provider? I have heard Macon Wong is good but cant find his details anywhere.

I would def. not recommend Dr M. Wan:
before we chose dr macor wan, but were extremely disappointed.
he is operating a massproduction patient operation, first you have to wait very long in a complete overloaded waiting room (no more seating available therefore, which is not the most comfortable being 24 weeks pregnant), then once it is your turn, you are not given any real time or attention, but you are on your way out again after a few minutes with the dr. in between jumping back and forth between other patients/ rooms.
we would definetely not recommend him; not that he is even cheap for that service.
we changed to dr dawkins (t 2715 4577) immediately and are happy there now, and yes he can do the ultrasound

We see Dr Lam in that office and are very pleased with him. We are quite relaxed about the pregnancy and so is Dr Lam, but I imagine he would not suit everyone.
Dr Lam has an 80% natural birth rate, Dr Wan is more orritented toward c-sections (which we have a friend who has had two from him and says he is really good).
There is never one doctor who everyone will like - you might need to go to 2-3 before you find one that suits your style.
We have heard a lot of ppl who use other doctors but go to the HK Prenatal Diagnosis Centre just for the 4D ultrasound photos and DVD once in their pregnancy. So you can go without being a patient there.

Try Dr Choy at Care for Women in New World Tower (3112 0480). She does 4D ultrasound and is very good.

Try Dr. Bernard Wong (2771-6556) in Champion Building in Jordan. He has a 4D machine and he is a very good doctor.

We went to Dr Lam at HK Prenatal Diagnostic Centre for a 12 week nuchal scan and blood test (to screen for downs and heart defects), he was excellent. Came very highly recommended for his ultrasound reading skills, supposed to be the best in HK, but also a nice manner.
At the time (2 1/2 years ago) the nuchal scan was pretty cutting edge, but now it's quite common and often replaces an amnio.

We went to Dr. Cora Ngai for amniocentesis 2 weeks ago in Central (25259213). I can clearly see my baby's face, fingers and other body parts. She spent about 20 minutes with us explaining what we can see during the scanning. She answers every question we raised. She is excellant.
