Travel insurance covering pregnancy

Hello all you well travelled mums! I am trying to find travel insurance (today!!!) to cover me for a trip to the philippines (tomorrow!!!) but I can't find any company based in HK that covers pregnancy. Does anyone have any helpful tips? I have tried Bluecross, kwiksure and BUPA. Thanks

The insurance company will cover you for travel whilst pregnant, but they "do not cover medical and maternity assistance arising after the 36th week of pregnancy".

Thanks for the reply, but I just booked some with a US based one (am travelling first thing in the morning). Somebody else maybe interested though. Actually, come to think of it my policy only covers til the 26th week so I may need the details for after that please.

Can you let me know details of your US insurance broker? I'm only in my first trimester so up to 26th week should be good for me for a while!

i went with bluecross last year, and they had cover for up to 32 weeks.


hhmm, maybe give them a call as their website doesn;t give much info.
