Has anyone out there preserved their baby's stem cells here in Hong Kong? My Doctor recommends it and I know it's quite common in the States. But I'm not too sure... What are your opinions of this? And if you have done it for your baby in Hong Kong, who did you go with? Thanks in advance.

I have done it for my boy, and I have used a Singapore company and stored it in Singapore, where our home is.

shadow you mean the cord blood banking? i went over this also and found out that if you are living in hong Kong stem cells are available when you need them in the future....hospitals here are accpeting donors from mother/baby who are have a healthy stem cells...

thats why not many people in Hong Kong do it....and besides its expensive...its like health insurance...you pay until you need it.
