Hi, I'm currently in the 2WW. Did anyone do a HPT before getting the official blood test? I'm tempted to do a HPT but worried that I will see have HCG in my blood. I took my last shot of ovidel on Saturday morning. Will it still be in my blood and effect the test!

I did, but I waited until the morning of the blood test. Didn't try earlier because of the hCG injection, but also, most hpk aren't supposed to be accurate until the the day your period is due. I took the home test just to relieve the stress of waiting for the call back from the doctor's office. Plus, if it was neg, I wanted to be emotionally prepared.
