c-sections info needed !

our first baby was born by c-section

now we found out that my wife is pregnant again

it is 1 year 3 months since our first was born

is this a risk to her health or the baby ?

In the days when mothers had very large families 5 or more children then spacing was more of an issue. Nowadays with two or three being the norm it is less so. There is NO evidence that having two pregnacies and births within two years as you are doing has any added risk in pregnancy or for scar rupture. On one occasion in Beijing I delivered a mother twice in the same calendar year, once in Jan and again in December, now thats close.
