bleeding after c-section

The bleeding after a c-section is much less but you do still have a bleed. I mentioned this to my OBGYN and she said it was the norm as they tend to give you a little clean up during the surgery.

I bled 6 weeks with my first C-section. 3 weeks with my second C.

I bled for about the same length of time after both of my sections, about 6-7 weeks. I think it can be slightly heavier too if you're breast feeding.
