I have recently had eggs harvested as part of our IVF treatment. Although I was not required to stay in the hospital overnight (just wait 4hrs after), today I feel terrible.
I am very sore in my lower abdomen and feel like Ive been ten rounds in a kick boxing match!
Is this normal? Grateful for any advice/experience sharing on this....

Why don't you ask your doctor? Your doctor should know as he/she is the one to do the procedure.

I went to a meeting right after egg retrieval, and felt absolutely terrible. It turned out, I had developed OHSS. If you get pregnant, it gets worse, if not, it disappears. It can be dangerous. It causes severe bloating. I was hospitalized at 8 weeks pregnant, but everything turned out ok.
