Hi,
I live in Shekou-Shenzhen. My due term is beginning of november. Because I live in Shekou and need to take the ferry to join HK, my doctor (Miss Sally Fergusson) ask me to come 2 weeks before the due term.
That means i need to find a service apartment for me and my first son. Mathilda has one but Adventist no.
I would prefer to deliver in Adventis because it is not so far away from downtown than Mathilda.
So my question is that anyone knows service apartment close to Adventist Hospital and if you have any experience to share about your delivery in Adventist, do not hesitate.

When we moved in HKG, we stayed at the Convention Plazza (close to Grand Hyatt hotel) in Wanchai and we found it very convenient. They have all sorts of serviced appartments.
There is a small cute garden with a playground and a pool so it's nice for your little one.
I would say it takes 15mn to go to the Adventist from there.
I'm going to deliver at the Matilda as my doctor operates there but I agree with you, it's really remote from the center.

The Matilda is only 15 to 20 minutes from Central to be honest I am not sure the distance is an issue. If you haven't a look round get I suggest you visit both places and get a feel for the type of care offered.
Most people really like the accomodation as it has spectacular views a balcony, there is a swimming pool on site and a children's play ground.
In the end though it is the hospital care that matters most and you must be confident in this, especially at such a special moment!
