Does anyone know of any hospitals in Hong Kong who use birthing pools (both public or private)? Anyone have any experience of birthing in a pool here ? I'd really like this for myself, at least to explore the option.

haven't had experience here but I used it in Japan and my sister has used a birthing pool and they are excellent and ease a lot of the pain. Unfortunately my dreams of a water birth vanished when my contractions slowed (and they can when using the pool) so I had to get out!! Would def. consider doing it again but not sure where you would do it in HK. Good luck!

Most hospitals do not use birthing pools here. Our delivery suites do have baths though and you can use them during labour (i personally found it very comfortable and eased contractios a lot) - the actual delivery though is done on dry land.
