With a hernia thee is some 'internal; surgery and many stitches in the muscles. This op is just below the surface with no 'tension' sutures. You will be sore, sitting down with great care and walking like a cowboy for a day or two.
I could not really say, but as a general rule Chinese doctors usually advise about 3 times as much time of work as do western Drs. Think you may need a few days off.
I did not quite say that. You may needa couple of days off, clutching an ice pack up against your 'special places'

I say to patients all the time--Dont listen to me, listen to your body. the body is very self-protected, if it doesnt feel good it isnt good, if your bady is hurting the W'end ot the 7s, remember, they have it every year.
