Would really like to meet up with some Mums-to-be but unfortunately most of the groups that post on here don't seem to work.
Are there any of you that do work that would be interested in meeting?

Hiya Vulvic
Yeah I work, and how! Haven't slowed down one wee bit, and almost 6 months now ugh.
I'd be happy to meet, can do lunches and the occasional dinner, but would prefer lunches. I work in wanchai, closer to admiralty. You?
Travelling all of next week but so far week after looks somewhat OK.
You can pm me...
Cheers

Fantastic! Saw a few threads about meeting up but it was always at 3pm or mid morning. Good to know that there are some of us still working (and travelling) full time.
I work in TST east but live in HV. Can do some lunches on the island if that's the general concensus though!
I am only early on - 11 weeks but am carrying on as always: gym in the mornings, full day at work, out in the evening. The only changes are my increase in appetite and tee-total beverages, lol!
Will PM you both in a few weeks, am off skiing in a fortnight so will be after that.

Hi, I work too. I will be away this week, but back next week. My office is in Central, but my boss allows me to work from home most of the time. It may be difficult to get out for lunch, but please keep me posted. If I can join, I'd love to meet up with other working mum to be.

Hi Macaron Mania,
will make plans when I get back. Goo to hear from another working Mum-to-be.

Vulvic- I am so jealous of you! I cancelled my ski trip when I found out I was pregnant. I am an okay skier (green and blue/red runner) but hubby doesn't want me to take that chance. Then the morning sickness kicked in so he was even more convinced that I won't be up for it. Sigh...
Just watch out for other skiers and stay safe. Many skiing accidents happen when you get hit by others. And take regular breaks to keep yourself hydrated! And most importantly, HAVE FUN!!

Suuny - bad news! Am so excited about this baby but by the same token, I still want to do the things I enjoy. I see this as my last 'hurrah' before motherhood.
Bad news about the morning sickness but from what I hear that is a good sign, lets you know all is well and good with the baby.
I hear you about hydration, I am drinking 4 litres of water a day and a ridiculous amount of orange juice. Can't get enough of the stuff! No apres ski for me though - prolly the best part about skiing (sigh).

Yes, the sacrifices we make....enjoy the skiing though!

Hi Sasha,
The more the merrier. Looks like it may be a few weeks before we get everyone together (due to travel). Look forward to meeting you soon.

Love to join in, I am currently 10 weeks. I work in Wanchai, so anywhere central on the island is good for me.
Hope the skiiing trip went well Vulvic.

Hello all,
hd a great trip and must say that the Europeans have a much more relaxed attitude to skiing. I decided to take a few lessons to brush up on my technique and when I told the instructor about my little tenant he was not perturbed. Apparently the rule of thumb is it is fine to ski between 3 and 6mths but not before or after. That said, this only applies to mums that are fit - not a good idea to ski if you do no cardio at all prior to your trip.
I am snowed at work this week but could meet up next week. Perhaps lu
