Thanks for the support. It's just that I've heard and read about the side effects medication like Clomid, etc. can have on me coz I'm actually a school teacher and have to go back to work next month! I recently read Jools Olivers Diary (Jamie Oliver's wife) and she also had PCOS and had to go through treatment too. They now have 2 gorgeous little girls now, so that's promising.

Well there are some obvious signs on the scan like cycts but there are also symptoms like weight problems and acne. I didn't suffer from the last two but the cycits that come each month was enought to cause infertility. If you do a yahoo search theres lots of info on symptoms. Dr Choy put me on Metaformin and it made a big difference so ask your Dr if it's right for you. I'm currently 22weeks preg and was taking metaformin up until the 14th week of my pregnancy as there is a higer risk of miscarraige with PCO. Hope this helps

Well, she's a gyn/ob so naturally deals with fertility issues. I don't know whether she's expensive or not because I've not been to any other Dr. but I can say that she knows what she's doing and does take time to explain things for the 'dummies' like me. You can ring her and discuss what your issues are coz prices of course would vary according to what you need done.
