We're expecting our first baby in October. I'm new to Beijing and don't know anyone that has had a baby here so any suggestions about good places to buy maternity wear and/or baby items here would be great.
I'm thinking maybe I should visit Hong Kong for a big baby / maternity item shop. Does anyone have any recommendations about specific items I should get in Hong Kong that I can't get here in Beijing? I figured that there would also be more variety in Hong Kong...

I am 6 months pregnant in Beijing and have been looking around a bit. There isn`t much maternity wear, but Pacific Plaza and the Luftansa Shopping mall all have nice baby stuff located on the top floor. International brands and prices, of course. Saw nice strollers and so on, as it comes to baby out-fits I just bought some 10 Yuan each at a small shop in the "women`s street", Nu ren jie, opposite the big flower market, Chaoyang district. It is really difficult to find just one store that has it all, so I am waiting to go on my mother leave and spend my time wandering around the city to gather the things I will need.
