Hi there! Just oppinions from all of you who had experience the D&C or suction and evacuation when you had miscarriages.

I had my 1st miscarriage at my 1st pregnancy 9-10 weeks. was admitted to hospital but fetus came out naturally without medical aid. 2nd pregnancy i have a healthy baby girl and got pregnant @ 7 months after having her. @ 13 weeks prgnancy i had my 2nd miscarriage, check in the hospital again at this time they advices me to have the suction & evacuation so i had it. My worry is upon reading books about the sideeffects that it might scar or tear the uterus and would give you a high risk of future miscarriage again. I am only 35 but worry that if i get pregnant i might not be able to carry full term pregnancy.

Quite the opposite ,the chances of damage to the uterus is MUCH better than the old D & C, C stands for Curretage and means that the tissue was scraped off the Uterine wall will a sharp instruement. With the suction nature will peel the tissue off at the appropriate level.
