I've been testing with Clear Plan since saturday (day 10). Today is day 12 and I see an "almost" matching stripe. Does LH build up over a couple of days? The instructions says indications of imminent ovulation would be a darker or matching stripe. So can I expect the full surge tomorrow or is this as dark as it gets? I'd be interested in knowing the experience of others on this board...

So the line does get progressively darker? When I tested yesterday and day before it was considerably lighter than the control line.

I did two tests in a day, and I saw the line became dark in a matter of a few hours. The first one was done at 7:30am, and the line was lighter than the reference line. I did the second test at 12:30pm the same day, and the line was definitely darker than the reference line. Then the next day at 11am, the test became negative. So, I would say, if the line is very close to the reference line, it would be safe to test it again on the same day.

Wow! I just tested again, and this time there is no doubt, the LH line is MUCH darker than the control line. Amazing, what 12 hours difference can make. I bet if I test tomorrow its going to be gone! Cheers

Amazing, isn't it? Yes, there is only a short window for getting busy (considering how the window also is occupied by sleeping time, office hours, etc. etc...)
Which test did you use? I used Clear Plan that comes with 5kits in a box. It says you should test between 8am and 2pm or something like that...Don't know what difference it makes for results... Anyway, good luck!!!!

I use Clearplan too. It just said test at the same time each day, preferably not less than 4 hours after your last urination. Dont recall seeing between 8 and 2? Anyway, I tested this morning too, and it was positive again, but slightly less dramatic than yesterdays.
It says you ovulate 24-36 hours after testing positive. I've had the most awful side pain and bloating since sunday till now.
I just returned from another acupuncture session, this time to make it stick. Amazing how different your pulse feels before and after acupuncture!

I usually can tell when I ovulate, as I too fell acute pain in my side abdomen, but when I use GonalF, I cannot feel so much as I feel pain all the time!

Apparently you have different "chi's", kidney chi, spleen chi, etc. The spleen chi is your internal energy, the kidney chi is how your system clears itself - is my understanding. It all has to be in balance for the hormones to function well. Its pretty cool how they know where to stick the needles and how they do it! Before the treatment my pulse (on my wrist) is feeble almost, and after it is quite a bit "kicking"! Amazing. And then I have to take this herbal powder for 12 days...
Yes, I can usually tell when I ovulate too. I've been on the pill for many many years, came off it in Feb this year, so now tracking my ovulation is somewhat new to me, but from what I've been observing, I can certainly feel it!
