I was taking vitex, but I did not know anything about it improving fertility. It is commonly used to help with menopausal symptoms. I was taking it to help improve acne breakouts - they seemed to go away while I was pregnant thus the dx that vitex would help. The brands that I have bought all say not to take while pregnant. My mother owns an herbal shop in the States. If you like I can ask her.

Okay, here is what my mom had to say. She says that Vitex can help if irregular menses is what's making conception difficult. She then recommends mixing it in Dong Quai 1/2 and half (she recommends the liquid form if available as it is more pure). Stop as soon as conception is suspected!
It works by acting on the antior piruitary glad reducing FSH and increasing LSH. It stimulates production of progesterone and reduces estrogen and testoterone.
