I am in week 17 and my breasts are getting more and more itchy. Today I start to realize pink rashes. Is this normal? Is there any way I can be rid of the irritation?

moisturize moisturize moisturize. Your boobs are probably growing so they also can develop stretch marks. (not just your belly.) Try not to scratch and instead rub some nice cream on them instead.

Actually I've already been applying stretch mark cream on them for quite a while... and before I got pregnant I had a habit applying moisturizer on them too. So they can't get too dry as to develop rash. And the rash is just pinkish without skin peeling off...and itchy. I'm just worrying whether it's allergy...

My breasts became irritated around the 17 week mark too (particularly the area around my areola). When I mentioned this to my obgyn, he said that this was normal and due to hormonal changes. He said to avoid using soap or any strong moisturizer on them, so I started cleaning with Cetaphil and swapped my stretch-mark cream for a mild moisturizer for sensitive skin (Aveeno). I don't know if that worked or if the hormones calmed down, but the irritation became a lot more managable after that.

Thank you! This is helpful. I finally went to see a dermatologist yesterday and her suggestion was that I stop using the stretch mark cream I am using and go for milder lotion for sensitive skin. And I will try to clean with Cetaphil too. too.
