Hi Meeowm,
i have pcos too but my periods are more regular (every 40 days) from what i have read it is really difficult to predict when you will ovulate with PCOS although easier for me as 40 days i took the advice that it is around day 24 to 28. I think for you it would be very difficult to predict and you may not be ovulating at all if it is every fours months (sorry)!! one book told me best just to have sex every few days which is not always practical and to look for other signs of ovulation eg. cercial sercretions i would recommend seeing a doctor to try and get some medication to regulate your periods and perhaps start ovulation? there are some good docs in hong kong but i guess you would want someone in shanghai. anyway it is your second child so you can get pregnant - anything from your first pregnancy that might help?

Try the book "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Toni Wexler which may help you "predict" your ovulation. Even if you do only ovulate every 3 or 4 months your body WILL do the normal transitions to ovulation - which, if you are observant, can pick up and "time" your intercourse accordingly. Of course your window of opportunity is far less frequent than a person who doesn't have PCOS, but it doesn't mean that you shouldn't take full advantage of your body when it DOES ovulate.
This thread that I am posting here is rather lengthy but it goes into great detail trying to help an asiaxpater with her conception. Although not all of it may apply to you, quite a bit of the advice there is good - even if you are dealing with PCOS. good luck.
