Just needed to talk. I'm probably pregnant..just a few days late. Have all early signs - consitpation, tired and sleepy, backaches, slight nausea. But after 2 miscarriages last year I'm terrified. Doctor says nothing to worry about and take it easy. I'm on the verge of tears at everything even silly advertisments. This isn't my first baby..have a wonderful 4 yr old boy. Hoping to give him a sibling soon.

Your emotions are probably due to the pregnancy hormones, speak to your partner, your parents... whomever you feel safe telling and share your concerns.
And, as your doctor says, take it easy, rest, eat well, etc...
Good luck, and keep those tissues handy for all the tears :)
(and keep posting here, because you know there are lots of sympathetic readers!)

thanks crj, even your post made me reach for the tissues ! My husband is out of town, will be back tonight thankfully. Don't want to tell my parents yet, until I'm past the danger state. They worry too much being far away. That's why this forum is the best. Know I can count on you all.

I have a big smile on my face for you bw :-) I hope you are pregnant and I hope it carries on smoothly! And don't worry about the tears...they only bother you, most people won't notice and those do will probably just think you're a sweetly sensitive woman. Do let us know when you take the test!

I did the home test, it's positive. But I didn't need to take it. Over the last two days the nausea is steadily increasing. I can't eat anything. Everything makes me nauseaus ! I'm 5.5 weeks too today. Have sore breasts and am feeling really sleepy all day. Don't worry if you don't have any symptoms. In my first pregnancy I had absolutely no symptoms for 2 and1/2 months and then suddenly the nausea hit. I couldn't keep anything down. This time it's milder and much earlier. In fact it's pretty much like when I had the miscarriages.
I just bend down yesterday to pick up something from the floor and sprained my back so bad I can hardly move. I think I'm going to lie down ! Take care and good luck

Bw, can totally sympathise. After 1 healthy girl, had 2 m/c, then a healthy boy! Have since had another m/c. Nothing doctors say can help you relax. Just went from scan to scan hoping, but never thought I was 'home and dry' until I had a baby in my arms.

Thanks guys for your thoughts and replies. It helps to know that I'm not alone and helps me get through each day. I guess if it's not meant to be there's nothing I can do except hope for the best and take each day as it comes.
