Park Island - East Hong Kong

Hi have seen quite reasonsable rents to very high rents in this complex. Can anyone comment on its suitability for family 2 adults, 2 children and facilities. Are apartments furnished?

Park Island is average $12 per foot. The higher the floor, larger the space and better the view will relate to the price differential. You will need at least a 3 bedroom at around 1000 sq ft, but may find that too crowded for you experience. There are 1600 sq ft penthouses but the rental on them is over 30K per month. Furnished or not depends on the specific landlord (most flats in HK are private owner) and will certainly cost more. There are also furniture rental company's in Hong Kong if you prefer doing that.


Transport options and times I replied in your other post. But aside from the ferry we have buses and MTR access at Tsing Yi Tsuen Wan and Kwai Fong.


The facilities here are very five star, with a significant population of families a reasonable sized xpat population and a significant amount of pet/dog owners.


Also keep in mind that in usable sq ft you are talking between 70 to 80 % of your gross area in most of Hong Kong so a 1000 sq ft here is only about 7 or 8 hundred net usable area.

... here in ma wan just near park island easy transportation also busgoing to tsing yi and bus going to tsuen wan as well as kwai fong.. with 3bedrooms and furnished already..
