Hello,
I am new to this site and this is my first post. I am seeking advice on selling a flat in Hong Kong. I am from California and the Real Estate agents in HK seem to play by different rules. We have listed our property with many agents and many people come to look. We are asking the price suggested by agents, but no offers. It appears the agents are using our property, which is newly remodeled with nice design (my wife is a designer) to sell other properties in this building - use the nice design of ours to negotiate lower prices on other units.
Any advice on the best way to list a property?
Also, any advice using an auction like through Century21?
Thanks,
Rick

Why not list here and save commission: http://hongkong.asiaxpat.com/property/default.asp?type=14
Your solicitor can assist with the paperwork.

How do I go about listing here? What are the fees?
Thanks.

I've been renting out a property for the last couple of years and found this website extremely good. I've also tried to sell it on this site and got lots of interest and a couple of offers.
Note from Ed: I have removed the insulting comments on this post. As in any industry, there are good and bad property agents.
