Pokfulam

Hi

I am looking for a 2-bedroom apartment in the Pokfulam area, 750-850 sq feet with a balcony would be ideal. It doesn't have to come with facilities. Does something like that exist? I am only shown Belchers, Bel Air and University Heights and am told that everything else would be too large.

Incidentally, I quite like Bel Air but am worried about its inaccessiblity. Would anyone have some thoughts on this?

Hi

I just took a look at Scholastic Garden - no facilities but great view and rent is within my budget.

But I'm running out of time and am still very tempted by the beautiful scenery and fresh air at Bel Air. Does anyone really know how inaccessible it can be?

Thank you.

Loads of buses and taxis go to cyberport. I wouldn't worry about being stranded!

Hi Diamond - I'm only aware of 2 big buses going that way, M49 from Central and 970 from Suk-O. There are 2 minis I believe one going to Causeway and the other, I dunno... Otherwise I'm at the mercy of the shuttle going to Shun Tak. Is this all correct? Do you live there too or a movie buff going to that cinema?

Phoenix - Scholastic is not bad and I would have taken it if I had not been so keen on the indoor pool at Bel Air (I came from the tropics). I saw 33rd fl with mountain and sea view at 22-23k I think. There's 32floor with only mountain view going for 18k but owner is away and I couldn't view. Another agent was tempting me with a 4th floor unit at 17.5k. I'm not an agent but if you like my agent, you can email me and I'll pass over details.

Cheers

Hey there,

I am actually looking for a replacement for my apartment in The Belchers (see my ad). I love the place but have to move out as I will leave HK. There will be no comission as no agent is involved. ASking price is 21 500 but that could be negotiated further down with the landlord. Call me if you are interested: 9222 0885

I think everyone who will view bel-air would love it. I did too, but later thought that it's not so convenient as we don't have a car so we opt for mid-levels west. No regrets.

Hi,

Don't know exact bus details but there must be quite a few as the bus station at cyberport is pretty big. I think there are more now than a year ago as the place is getting busier. I don't live there, I'm on Pokfulam Road, but visit everytime there is something on at the cinema. (good guess cwk!).

Hi - OK, thanks v v much for all the useful comments from everyone... with this latest on movies helping a lot because I'm definitely a movie buff.

I've signed for Bel Air and tried the shuttle twice now and it feels great. The place really isn't so far as it is not so accessible by public transport as other places. This will motivate me to get a car... hopefully soon.

Cheers

Thanks! Yes, saw #69 but never took it yet. So far life has been pretty confined to work and some specific routes. Will try definitely. Cheers
