Built-in Cupboard Space

I'm thinking of moving to somewhere that has zero storage space and want to have some built-in cupboards made. Is it usual to hire a contractor to do that, or can someone recommend a carpenter? And idea of cost also appreciated.

I have recently bought an apartment, and have had my bed, bed side table, wardrobes all built to measure. I went to To Kwa Wan where there are quite a few "interior designers" who can make custom built stuff for you!

and how is the price compared to say, Pricerite or Ikea?

Mmm... I think ikea and pricerite will always be cheaper, BUT the quality of ikea i think is a bit of a let down.


At the end of the day, if you get it made to measure, u can choose the type of wood/colour/style/size... whereas with pre-made stuff, you are quite limited.
