Hi Everyone!

I'm about to move to Hong Kong a few weeks from now. It's a company trip, and I'll be staying until December. They informed us that I'll be staying in a place called de Victoria, in Causeway Bay, its at Yee Woo St., specifically.

But the job would be at Central.

Do anyone knows about the place de Victoria? Is it nice? How about the accomodations?

Thanks!

thanks kc1234!,

would you happen to know about the area's dining, bars, and nightlife?

also, on the average, how much do i have to spend for a meal, transportation to central, and other needs. I only have an allowance of 400 HKD per day. Do you think it's enough? Thanks

400HKD a day is fine for transport and meals for one...assuming of course you eat at reasonably priced outlets. No need to go bare bones that's for sure. The allowance is just for meals and transport, not accomodations right? If so, ur fine. Drinking alcohol of course will lighten the wallet easily as drinks at bars go for around 45-70HKD each.

Have fun. You will like HK.
