The jump in the property market has hit me hard with my landlord wanting to increse my rent by 45%. I need to find another apartment and here are my requirements:
Size - Between 600 and 700
Area - South side (Pokfulam, Cyberport, near HKU etc but excluding South Horizons) or around Sheung Wan, Kennedy town
Rent - Maximum 12K
I am single so a 1 bedroom flat or a studio would be fine too. Would really appreciate if i could get some suggestions/feedback on how to narrow done my search and whats the best way to look for the place

You might get something in Kennedy Town but South Side, 12k is a bit tight. You may get a 600 sf place. Perhaps you should buy a flat in the New Territories. 12k would easliy cover your mortgage.
