Builder able to work on Lantau?

Any advice or recommendation regarding a south Lantau-based builder or a builder able to work on Lantau, having regard for the road permit restriction? I need quite extensive renovation of my very large top floor apartment and roof area which is located in a south Lantau village. I am looking for a builder capable of providing good quality finishing work.


Alternatively, where can I find a list of experienced/registered builders, and avoid the cowboys who might be interested in tackling this work? Is it worth splitting the work into separate trade packages, i.e. get the demolition/wall builder in first, then the plasterer, electrician, plumber and so on in sequence, and buy all the materials I want to be used myself and have them delivered? I'm not trying to save money as much as find someone to give me what I want. There's so much building work going on along south Lantau at present that it would appear difficult getting any builder interested for a project this size, probably only about $500K worth of work.

Is Findley Leung the only builder on Lantau?

I was given the name of an expat builder on Lantau, Uni-tech, or something like that. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this builder, and contact information?

Also looking for builder on South lantau and after dining with Dbob yesterday (yup, gave the game away at the end!!) got some information on builders. Have been told that Johnny (Findley Leung) and Tony Tang seem to be the most popular.
