Construction work in Africa

Hi there,


My friend is an Irish who resides in Canada and recently found a contruction job (supervisor at the construction site) with a UK construction company....and they offer him US1.2M after finish a 4-year contract term (in the mid-term of course there's a monthly allowance or something..but I dont know the details...) ...however the construction site is in Nigeria...... But US$1.2M is A LOT of money.... hmmm Nigeria is a country I heard a lot of negative things....would there be anything wrong???.. what do you think?
